B. Types of MBA programs?

 Various Business schools offer several types of MBA programs to cater to the needs of different students. There are 4 different types of MBA programs:

1)  Full Time MBA Program

The full time MBA degree is a general management degree that seeks to give on campus experience to students. These programs are designed to give you a two year -full time MBA program and are very popular in the United States. 

The one-year MBA program is available in several institutions across Europe and Asia. The full time MBA has many formats. 

 2) Executive MBA Program

Executive MBA is a 1 year post graduate degree course and it is meant for working professionals. This course focuses specifically on the details of business and is less theoretical in nature.

3) Part-Time MBA Program

1)  London Business School

Pursuing an MBA in the London Business School is a prestigious affair for all ambitious graduates. The world’s most flexible and respected university in Europe, the LBS offers an Executive MBA and two other EMBA’s

a)  The EMBA Global Asia: involves studying in Hong Kong, shanghai, New York and London.

b) The EMBA Global Americas and Europe: involves study in London and New York .

The LBS gives you the option to select whether to study over 15 months, 18 months or 21 months.

2)University of Cambridge, Judge Business School

Judge Business School has been ranked 19th in global FT rankings. It is the first among one year MBA programs in the UK. The Full Time Cambridge MBA is the flagship MBA program of the university.

You can study an Executive MBA at Cambridge. It’s a 20-month course delivered over 16 weekends and four week-long blocks.

  3) University of Oxford, Saïd Business School

University of Oxford, Saïd Business School is a top provider when it comes to MBA’s. The one year course at Oxford costs around £63,000.

This university also gives you the opportunity of opting for an Executive MBA or the unique Oxford 1+1 MBA. This is a process to combine the one year MBA with one of a select list of Master degrees in different subjects.

4) University of Warwick, Warwick Business School

Warwick Business School’s MBA offers workshops on Client Persuasion Skills, Effective Demonstrations etc. The full-time MBA is a 12-month course, with tuition fees of £43,950.

Warwick also includes a distance learning MBA and an Executive MBA.

 5) Imperial College Business School

Imperial College Business School’s MBA provides a full time MBA of 12 months with a tuition fee of £54,500. Pass outs of the Imperial MBA program have been employed in various sectors including manufacturing, health care and banking.

Imperial College also offers:

  1.   A weekend MBA
  2.   A two-year Executive MBA
  3.   A two-year global online MBA

 6) The University of Manchester, Alliance Manchester Business School

Branded as one of the world’s most practical MBAs’, Alliance Manchester Business School offers a full-time MBA, along with a global part-time MBA over 18 or 24 months.

The university offers you with on program three consultancy projects with real clients. There are options to study over 12, 15 or 18 months. Tuition fees are currently £45,000.

 7) Durham University Business School

Durham University Business School gives a full-time MBA in 12 or 15 months. The MBA syllabus gives you the opportunity to focus on three specialties namely entrepreneurship, consultancy, or technology.

Durham also offers an online/blended MBA. Hence, you can study the course entirely online or in a combination of online and taught residential modules. Another option is the Executive MBA delivered jointly by Durham and Germany’s European Business School.

 8)City London University, Bayes Business School

Bayes Business School has the following MBA programs:

  1. Executive MBA
  2. Modular Executive MBA, over 24 months
  3. Executive MBA in Dubai, studying at the Dubai International Finance Centre

The 12-month, full-time MBA at Bayes Business School includes workshops, live projects, overseas expeditions and international consultancy projects. Tuition fees cost £46,000.

 9) Cranfield School of Management

Cranfield School of Management offers an impressive range of MBA courses. It offers:

  1.    A full-time MBA ( £39,000 in fees )
  2.    Executive MBA(£27,000 in fees)
  3.    MBA Defence (£27,000 in fees)
  4.    Executive MBA Defence Export (£27,000 in fees)

 10) University of Edinburgh Business School

University of Edinburgh Business School offers three types of MBA namely:

  1. The full-time MBA- lasting 12 months
  2. The full-time MBA with international exchange -lasting 12 months
  3. The part-time executive MBA -lasting for a period of 27 months

The full-time MBA and full-time MBA with international exchange both have tuition fees of £32,500.
